July 1, 2008 - Meeting with the Bishop; 19th of September primary school; Los Cerritos

Big smiles from the children of Los Cerritos, one of the highly impoverished communities
in Sta Rosa.

Cocinar tipico for most of the homes in Los Cerritos.

Children of the primary school in Chiquimulilla with welcome banners and roses for the delegation. The school is called 19th of September, in memory of those who died 22 years ago from the volcanic eruption.

Jackie, Gina and Hannah having fun and bonding with the kids of the 19th of September school.

Say "keso!"

Bishop Sagastume, a very young, humble and charismatic man, welcoming the youth of Metuchen to Sta Rosa. He applauded them for their enthusiasm and willingness to go to Guatemala when they could have spent their summer break in the Carribean, with friends, or in the comfort of their own homes.
