Today's CCST Farmers Market ran out of goods with its first haul of fruits and vegetables by 4:30pm, and then again sold out a second time within a half hour of the arrival of extra goods. After only two sessions, the CCST Farmers Market has almost recouped the total of the $2000 Operation Rice Bowl grant already. This at cut-rate prices: six ears of corn for $1, five tomatoes for $2, and so on.
The next CCST Farmers Market is Friday, Aug. 15 at 4pm in the Sacred Heart church garage, near the corner of Throop and Townsend, New Brunswick.
