Jewish Community Soul-Searching after Postville Raid

At the National Migration Conference, we learned of the high percentage of kosher foods produced at the Postville, Iowa plant that was the site of the infamous immigrant raid in May. We heard of the debate within the Jewish community prompted by the raid. Today's front-page New York Times story provides some helpful background on the discussion.

While we're leafing through the Times, here's a story on the ending of ICE's "friendly" alternative to raids. So much for ICE being the nice guys. We were never fooled.
