Bishop Frantisek Tondra of the Diocese of Spis, Slovakia, will celebrate Mass at the St. Francis of Assisi Cathedral, Thursday, Sept. 25 at 12:10pm. The Spis Diocese received a 2003 CCST grant fostering global solidarity, which led to an exchange of Caritas personnel in both dioceses. Spis Caritas Director Peter Malucky was the keynote speaker of the 2005 Harvest of Hope Dinner in New Brunswick.
Bishop Tondra will also celebrate Mass at the annual Slovak Festival, held this year Sunday, Sept. 28 at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel. Vitajte!
