In the Thanjavur Diocese of India (Tamu Nadil state), these are exciting days of preparation and celebration for the Sept. 8 (Birth of Mary) patronal feast of Our Lady of Good Health, located in Vailankanni. Washington's Basilica Shrine of the Immaculate Conception has a bit of background on the devotion, along with its fairly new chapel in Our Lady of Good Health's honor.
